Twotone chao are like the regular chao, only different colors. That chao in the background is what's known as(even though it's purple)a pink twotone. You mate a pink chao with a regular chao to get it. To get twotone chao, mate a colored chao with a regular chao. It will be two different colors.

Red Twotone- This chao will be dark red with brighter tips. Make it into a dark running chao and it will resemble Shadow sooner than a regular chao would. To get one, mate a red chao and a regular chao.

Blue Twotone- This chao will be blue with green tips. Make it into a neutral running chao and it will resemble Sonic sooner than a regular chao would. To get one, mate a blue chao with a regular chao.

Carribean Twotone- This chao is a shiny blue-green color, with yellow tips. A very beautiful chao. It will resemble the Aurora Bourelais(probably spelled that wrong)if you make it into a Hero Running Chao. To get one, mate a shiny pink chao with a ruby chao.

Black Twotone- This chao will be black with greenish-brown tips, but you can BARELY see the tips, even when it's a hero. To get one, mate a black chao with a regular chao.

Pink Twotone- This chao will be purple with orange tips. It's the chao in the background. When it's made into neutral chao, it gets many different colors, and turns pink. To get one, mate a pink chao with a regular chao.

White Twotone- This chao is born regular, but when made into a neutral chao, it becomes a Guardian Chao, and when made into a dark chao, it becomes a Blitz Chao. To get one, mate a white chao with a regular chao.

Grey Twotone- This chao is grey with yellow tips and a blue belly. To get one, mate a grey chao with a regular chao.

Purple Twotone- This chao will be blue with pink tips and look like bubble gum. To get one, mate a purple chao with a regular chao.

And so on. Each colored chao has another twotone chao of that color. Try experimenting. Shiny twotones are also twice as beautiful.
